Green Light Wireless is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) that offers low cost solutions for internet access. Our networks are designed to work with industry standard 802.11b/g network clients, meaning there is No Installation Charge because you already own the equipment you need. And since some of our subscribers are long term residents in single family houses, while other subscribers are only spending the night at a bed and breakfast, we require No Service Contract. Finally, we have No Early Termination Fees because there is no such thing as early termination!
* No Installation Charges
* No Service Contracts
* No Early Termination Fees
There are two types of computer users who subscribe to our network. The first are students living in off-campus housing complexes who move into rental units prior to the start of classes in August, only to find that they don't have internet connections. After one week of shopping the market for the fastest connection at the cheapest price, they are given no choice but to wait another week for a service technician to visit their apartments to install the necessary equipment needed for the subsequent contract period. By this point, classes are well underway and there are only fifty weeks remaining in the tenant's leases; with fifty-two weeks remaining in the new Internet Service contract. You know what this means... an early termination fee next July as well as... you guessed it, another visit from the service technician to pick-up the rented equipment.
Our service is also found in high-rise apartment buildings including condominiums, co-ops and rental facilities. Large corporate ISP's take advantage of this situation by charging retail prices - sometimes as much as $45.00/month - to each residential unit, recognizing astronomical gains at almost no incremental cost. Where is the economy of scale? In these instances, Green Light Wireless is able to install our wireless infrastructure into the building and distribute a single "shared" internet connection throughout; recognizing up to 65% in total cost savings.
